Pretoria CBD

Pretoria has changed a lot since Independence. What once used to be the grey centre for the Civil Service and the military has now become a multilingual technicoloured mixture of communities. The heart of the city is Church Square, around which the original city was developed. The central part of Pretoria houses many of the government offices of this administrative capital of South Africa. It also houses numerous green, wide open spaces in the numerous parks and sports fields, offering facilities for a complete cross section of sports. The city is home to a plethora of museums that tell the story of the nation’s past. Pretoria has shed its unwanted baggage and become one of the country’s most progressive urban centres.

The Pretoria CBD has a great infrastructure, with a good collection of hospitals, government and private schools, and home to the State Theatre, which offers a good selection of opera, ballet and orchestral concerts. There are shopping centres a-plenty, including the Asiatic Bazaar, which is located immediately next to Pretoria Central. Pretoria has excellent road links with the rest of southern Africa, and is conveniently half way between Cape Town and Victoria Falls. The newly opened Gautrain has brought Central Johannesburg and the international airport much closer. Pretoria offers investors a wide range of excellent opportunities ranging from opulent ambassadorial mansions and roomy homes to small apartments and starter homes in town house and cluster home complexes.
